WhatsApp 8 Hidden Features

We use WhatsApp almost every day. We have a few tips for using WhatsApp, which is one of the indispensable features of our mobile phones.

CHAT SHORTCUTS

Are there people you talk to often? Did you know that you can add a shortcut to your device's home screen to open the chat screen
Just open the chat, press the menu button, then tap "Add chat shortcut".

PHOTO LIBRARY

Are there a lot of photos from chat groups?
To prevent images from automatically downloading to your device, go to Settings> Data usage.

Under Automatic media download, deactivate when using Mobile data, connected to Wi-Fi, and Roaming.

MESSAGE TIME SETTING

Are you worried about forgetting something? You can use Seebye Scheduler ROOT on Android and download Message Scheduler for WhatsApp on iOS. You will need an Android with root or an iPhone with jailbreak.

BLIND CARBON COPY

Blind Carbon Copy (BCC) is a frequently used function that prevents recipients from being aware of each other in emails.

You can activate a similar function in WhatsApp under Options> New post and select the contacts to whom you want to send your message. You'll be able to see who received your messages and send a private reply to everyone.

LOCKING WHATSAPP

Your cell phone is using my other people except you.

There is a way to lock WhatsApp and keep prying eyes away. For this job, you need to take advantage of AppLock on Android and iApp Lock on iOS. The Android version of the app does not require root, while the iOS version requires a jailbreak device.

CONNECTING GROUP CHATS

Are you a member of a group of family members or colleagues? There is no doubt that these groups work from time to time, but you probably get warnings about things that you probably won't be interested in most of the time. The problem is that if you leave the group, you should avoid breaking other members. But why would you always want to be warned about the "cute" things your cousin's new baby does?

To save yourself, open the chat you want to mute, then tap Options> Mute. Here you will find options such as silencing the conversation for eight hours, a week or a year. You can also turn off alerts from the group.

SEARCH

If you need to call an important phone number or email address, you can use WhatsApp's built-in calling function. Go to Options> Search and enter the phrase you're looking for.

MESSAGE STARS

Wouldn't it be more effective to keep the important messages ticked when they arrive, rather than hopelessly navigating the old messages? To do so, tap and hold the message you want to keep and tap the star icon that appears at the top of the screen. Messages that you have starred can be found in Options> Starred messages.
